Hello and welcome to Lake Country Myo LLC! I am an orofacial myofunctional therapist, dental hygienist, and a mom. I began my career as a dental hygienist over a decade ago and have shifted into dentistry's airway side in recent years. Orofacial myofunctional therapy can help alleviate various symptoms from headaches, jaw pain, and sleep apnea, to clenching/grinding and more.
My path into orofacial myofunctional therapy began when my son was a toddler. I had witnessed apnea episodes early on. As his teeth started erupting, his teeth were crowding. He had developed a grinding habit and mouth breathing at night. Along with orofacial myofunctional therapy, and addressing underlying tethered oral tissues, my son is now on the path to a functional airway.
